Curtains of the show, the innocents, finally opened highlighting some good local stage actors. And when you look at the stage you will see a picture and this the subject of many strange stories. Anonymity is maintained by the person that has owned this for a very long time. For some strange reason, the owner was said to have bought this portrait as she was speeding down the road and she stopped to buy it suddenly.
She thought that it was impossible for her to afford it but she could not leave until the store clerk gave it to her. She remembered needing to buy books, clothes and supplies soon for her kids, who were heading back to school soon. I am sorry I cannot afford it no matter how beautiful it is, she recalls pondering about these words which she will tell the saleslady. In a very loud voice, she yelled that she just had to purchase the portrait no matter what, stopping the clerk before she could return the portrait back in place.
The lady, after paying and walking out of the antique store wondered how exactly she allowed herself to buy it when she could not even afford it, and how she was possibly going to explain to her husband as soon as he finds out about her ridiculous compulsion that made her buy that painting. This oil painting was of a Russian wolfhound known as a Borzoi, done between the late 1800's or perhaps the early 1900's. The subject of the painting, a Russian wolfhound was depicted in a almost straight on pose, showing only its shoulders and head, and for the few who have been trained to be familiar with such a breed, they should be able to notice this absurdity, and not just gush about how nice or lovely the painting is. But as you look at the chest and shoulders, you will see it's not proportional.
The woman wondered how she still went ahead and got that strange picture even as her eyes were expertly trained toward the breed and knew that a Borzoi should not appear like so. The wife was surprised about how her husband felt so drawn to the painting of the Borzoi the way she was too when she first saw it when she first thought that her husband would get so mad about her overspending instead of spending it for the kids' school needs.
Many experts and amateurs of photography have chosen this as their subject and yet there never was an instance when two photographs came out alike. There are times that the dog painting would look like it was three dimensional, while flat at some times, then most of the time it seems that the pictures were in color or black and white some strange lights would show but the creepiest would be the times when a spectral silhouette would be showing on the portrait's right area.
?I don't agree that some sort of entity came with this portrait, perhaps we just imagine so many things and our eyes make us see stuff from sorts of light reflections,? shared the husband when he and his wife discussed the possibility of a supernatural force behind the portrait of the Russian wolfhound. A large ceramic plate that was on the wall suddenly fell without breaking, not even a crack in sight, and this was a mystery indeed.
During the time that director of the playhouse who is also its producer, heard about the portrait, he quickly went to the couple who gladly loaned it to him for it would be perfect for his play which was a story of the supernatural. Together, the couple openly discussed with the producer of the Innocents that they feel that the portrait was able to make something unknown come into their home the day they got it, and he might be able to help them realize what this when he uses this for his local stage play. This being the truth is what they are hoping for.
