People that have either anxiety or panic attacks can have them for various reasons. There is not just one specific cause for these things to happen with people. It can be many different things together or one particular thing that triggers the anxiety or panic. Let's delve more into this subject to see what we can learn.

You could actually have it in your genetics to be more sensitive to anxiety than other people are. Society often refers to people like this as being naturally high strung. If you are one of these people you know what this means. You are more nervous in all situations.

If you are going through a tough situation in your life it is easy to feel anxiety over it. Many people today are anxious over their finances and how they are going to pay their bills. This may even make some people have full-blown panic attacks over their situations. Of course this is one of the more normal reasons to feel anxiety and panic.

Depression is also another reason why anxiety and panic effects people. The feeling of depression is something that some people can not bear easily. This could be a reason for them to think irrationally and irresponsibly which may lead them to more serious problems.

Also anything that makes you have altered thinking such as taking certain drugs (legal or illegal) or imbibing in alcoholic beverages. These can distort your thinking and rationing abilities so you may not be able to keep yourself calm when needed. When your going into anxiety mode in your mind there is always a possibility of a panic attack occurring.

Panic attacks have a tendency to be recurrent after attacking a person once. If you have already experienced a panic attack, you may develope a tendency to this in different situations. The fear of anxiety could lead you to another panic attack.

Anxiety and panic attacks may be due to many stressful incidences and may tend to go as long as the stress continues. This will become a cycle that can be hard to break. If this condition is not treated properly, anxiety will continue to disruped the person, or worse ruin the normal flow of their life.

When you have been in a traumatic situation in your life, where you have feared for your life this can cause you after effects. These can include a high level of fear that stays with you, which brings on anxiety. If this level of fear is too high it may turn into panic. This in another very normal thing to suffer anxiety and even panic attacks over.

Learned in this article is the fact that every one of us can be affected by anxiety and panic at some point in time in our lives. Although it's true that not all of us will be attacked by extreme anxiety, there is still the possibility that it will, especially if we don't know how to control our feelings and emotions. To help yourself prevent this from happening, research information on traditional therapies, and medications that you can use to free yourself from anxiety and panic before your life is affected by it.
