And it will also help to suppress your appetite while not adding any calories. Feeling full keeps you from overeating. You'll also have more energy and enthusiasm when adequately hydrated, being dehydrated tends to make you feel sluggish and causes your system to run slower. 2. Keep your metabolism high and running efficiently. A number of people have naturally fast metabolisms that burn fat no matter how much or how little they exercise and/or eat. 4. Get adequate dietary fiber in your daily diet Many people don't get the daily recommended amount of fiber (around 25 grams) daily.
