It can be really difficult sometimes when it comes to purchasing gifts for a wedding. It's difficult because trying to make a decision on what you think the couple was like is really the hard part. If a couple have been living together for a number of years I really think these are the hardest to purchase for, the reason I say this is because it is most likely that they will have a home which will help many of the items that you could purchase for a wedding present for them. If it's a young couple getting married it's always much easier because they are just starting out they may not have many possessions and may require lots of items to make their new house a home.
It's important when you start to look for a present that it is suitable for the couple you are purchasing this for. This is probably the most difficult part because many people will always question themselves what they buy. You simply don't want to purchase something that is going to end up in a bottom draw for the next few years. What you're really looking for is a unique gift that they will use our treasure for a long time. It really depends how close you are to the couple on what you purchase for them. If they are really good friends the next time you visit their home pay attention to what they have already. You can get fantastic ideas by simply looking around their home to see what they have, you'll also get ideas by simply looking at their decor. Generally, this is something many people do not do they simply could not take the time to visit the couple I look around to see what they have. Maybe it's a good idea to even ask but it really depends how close you are to them.
Some people like to receive presence that they can use on their wedding day as it makes it more special knowing what they are using has been given to them by a very close friend. You could supply them something for their wedding ceremony jewelry, flowers and candles are just some ideas. A friend of mine recently purchased a wedding cake topper for a very close friend who played hockey. The figures both had hockey jerseys and equipment, they also had the same hair colors and they were handmade and look amazing on top of the wedding cake.
There are so many ideas out there for gifts and it's really up to you to decide. Make sure to take your time to look around to try to find something unique. If you can find something that they will use in their everyday lives that is awesome. If you can find something that when they look at it from the back memories of their wedding day that can also be fantastic. Whatever you decide I'm sure the couple would love what you give them. Some couples don't even expect gifts, they simply prefer that you were there on their wedding day when they commit to spend the rest of their lives together.
