Most people who are older remember using white bunk beds at some point in their life. This may have been because of the need to share a room with siblings. Or, it may have been due to the convenience that bunk beds provided at an affordable price for growing families. It has not been until the last few years that bunk beds have again began to see an increase in popularity.
Many families with children find that the popular themes for decorating a room change on a regular basis. Many times this means completely changing the color of the room as well as the furnishings to match the decor. Beds are one of the largest investments that a family makes for a child's room and buying a new bed to match a changing decor theme can become very expensive.
With the advancement of technology and laser production, white bunkbeds have evolved beyond the rather plain box shape that they were years ago. These beds now are designed with an eye toward the needs of an individual who may be redecorating a room several times over the course of years that the bed will be in use.
