The Meta title appears on top of the browser. It is the title of the document. It also appears in the search result. The Meta description is used as the description in the search result when the search engine couldn’t find a keyword in the content. Many people like to include as many keywords as possible in the Meta keywords field. The problem is that the search engine will recognize you as spam when it detect that you are trying to manipulating it. It is a waste of time to include a huge list of keywords in the Meta keywords field because the search engine never cares about it. The Meta keywords simply give the search engine an idea of what your site is about. It will never rank your site based on the keywords included in the Meta keywords field.
