Pool enclosures have become a must for swimming pool owners. Surely, you would want to enjoy swimming in your own pool, regardless of the extreme weather conditions.
There are four types of enclosures for your swimming pool. Generally, these enclosures offer advantages such as having pool fences, heating your pool, reducing energy costs and maintenance, reducing water evaporation, and more.
The four types of enclosures are the Pool Igloo, Bubble Dome, Low Profile, and Full Height.
The Pool Igloo is versatile, light, and easily transported. It is also very simple to store as it does not utilize much space. Manufacturers of Igloo type of enclosurex assure their customers that it can be dismantled and assembled in half of an hour. It would also take a few minutes to store it on one side.
The materials used in making Pool Igloo are fiberglass and stainless steel. The stainless steel is used to make the arches forming the structure. There are also reinforcements in key areas, and nylon zips on the entry point of the structure and on the doors and windows, if available.
Igloo pool keeps your pool free from fallen leaves, and other debris at a low cost. It is one of the reasonably priced pool enclosures. However, on the other side, you are not able to see the happenings outdoors. Or if you are outside, you do not have inkling into what goes on near the swimming pool.
The Bubble Domes may have used other terms such as Dome enclosures or Air domes. These enclosures look like large bubbles. There is a small fan that blows air into the structure to keep it upright. It is held in place by a water bag running around at the bottom of the enclosure. Or, it could also be bolted down to the ground by a cable.
There are many sizes available for bubble domes. The price too is competitive. But, on the other side, many do not favor its appearance once mounted. To them, it is a big, ugly bubble structure.
The Low-Profile enclosures provide the obvious benefits of the larger enclosure structures for less. They are also attractive in appearance. Low-profile enclosures are strong, and easy to operate. When it comes to efficiency in heat retention and absorption, low-profile has high ratings. Its only drawback, however, is its being a low-profile, which means that you cannot walk around the pool edges when it is mounted.
The Full Height enclosures come in many shapes, designs and sizes. There are choices of 3, 5, 7 and 9 sides. Either Plexiglas or polycarbonate or toughened glass is used to make Full Height enclosures. But, because they are substantial structures, they require careful planning and preparation before they are installed.
If you want to turn your outdoor swimming pool into indoor, then Full Height pool enclosures are effective. You can also have a complete pool room, and have space to walk around the pool or relax within the enclosure itself.
On the other side, Full Height pool enclosures can have a big impact on your financial resources. Also, they can distract the overall appearance of your swimming pool.
