Some people tend to think that dieting healthy is associated to buying expensive food. In fact, this is completely untrue; you only have to follow this piece of advices that will help you eat in a very healthy way without spending too much:

You must have in your cupboard nutritious cheap food like pasta, rice, milk, cereal, eggs, spice for salads and potatoes. All these elements are part of the base group of the food pyramid. You can use these food in any recipe and they are incredibly good when it comes to nutritional value for our everyday life.

Buying seasonal vegetables and fruit is aways affordable, as they are available in large amounts for the general public.

If you want to save money over the long term, buying precooked products won't help you whatsoever, that's why you need to plan your meals and you need to have the right ingredients in your cupboard.

Cooking large amounts of food and then freezing is a great option to save lots of time; a great idea is to cook a good amount of food and freeze them during the weekend or during any day you have more free time, and then separate various rations to eat the following weekdays.

Normally we associate proteins with meat but buying this is usually more expensive than buying legume, cereal, fruit or soy derived products which also contain large amounts of proteins.

You should definitely take into account that a good cheap option are vegetable soups, which are incredibly healthy and they contribute with a great deal of vitamins for our body.

Take into account also, that buying large amount of products can be cheaper than buying small portions: a good explain for this are cereal, if you buy a big pack of cereal, it will cost you more or less the same as if you buy a regular breakfast based in bread, and cereal will last longer and they are healthier.

It's not impossible to lose weight, it sounds hard for some people, but it's not as hard as people might think. Eating Healthy is the way to go to change your eating habits for good. Choosing the right food is the starting point on getting a flat stomach.
