Planning a first date can be exciting but it can also be stressful. What are you going to talk about to keep the evening exciting? Going out for dinner can be a nice start but what about afterwards? Some people opt to go to a movie, but you really can’t interact much there at all. Of course after the movie you can spend some time talking about it.

Want to offer a great first date to someone you would love to get to know better? Why not invite them to go out dancing with you? There are many clubs and other places where dancing can take place. Most people love to dance, but you should ask your date what type of dancing they enjoy the most. That way they won’t feel uncomfortable where you take them.

Salsa dancing has become a trend that many people love to take part in. If your date isn’t really aware of it, ask them to join you. Take some time to see the moves other people are involved in before you ask them to join you on the dance floor. If they aren’t comfortable doing so make them feel comfortable as you visit at your table.

Dancing offers the chance to be in close contact with your date. However, it won’t be awkward. In fact, it can be very exciting. It doesn’t matter if you are fast dancing or slow dancing so take advantage of it. You can also talk about the music, observe what other people in there are doing, and so much more. Consider the location where you will go dancing very carefully though. Some of them are too crowded and others are so loud you won’t be able to hear each other.

Don’t feel that dancing as a first date is off limits due to your abilities. When it comes to dancing it is more about the atmosphere than what your moves are. As long as you know some basic steps you will be fine. In fact, the more confident you are about your own dancing style, the more you will enjoy yourself. Your date is going to love seeing you be able to loosen up and enjoy the evening with them.

If you are really self conscious about your dancing abilities then you will want to consider some lessons first. You can get them from someone you know in your home. Most friends will be willing to help you out. You can also sign up for a dance class where you can learn some great moves. That could encourage you to ask someone to go out dancing with you.

When you are dancing with someone, it gives them the impression you are very interested in them. On a first date it can seem difficult to know when you should lean in, if a touch is appropriate, or if the arm around the shoulder is making her uncomfortable. With dancing though the movements seem to flow easily and they are non threatening to anyone involved in it.

It also allows for each of you to offer smiles and some great eye contact. Towards the end of the evening there can be some great slow dancing. The head on the shoulder or the very close cheek to cheek dancing may be a perfect way for you to close the night on your first date together.

Stop going out on first dates that are boring and predictable. When you decide to go out dancing you can open up some fun opportunities. In fact, don’t be surprised if your date wants to hook up to go out with you again very soon.
