No longer is there a concept of a committed marriage in today's culture. It's amazing to me that even the partners that I see and hear about and that I might think are rock solid as a couple falter because of cheating. Whenever I hear people talk about a dishonest husband or wife, every person always says, "Well, didn't the other partner catch the signs?". Lots of people think the signs of cheating are so clear, that the other spouse had to of known what was going on. The innocent partner already has to go through enough, and being blamed for the circumstance is a whole lot worse.
You will see some signs that can lead a husband or wife to suspect cheating. Cheating on a spouse without leaving behind any kind of signs or signals overtime, would be very difficult. What usually happens, is that the signs were there, however the scorned spouse either disregarded them, were advised to overlook them, or simply did not want to think that such a thing would happen to them. It's no good to ignore the reality of what's happening, even though it maybe very hurtful. You should pay attention to the following signs and signals if you suspect your spouse is cheating on you:
1. They make excuses for returning home late: A sign most often observed. They will often say they have to work late at the office. You might except that excuse for a while, but if this is going on a lot, if it's happening all of a sudden, or if your man or woman comes home smelling like perfume or cologne, then you know they've had close contact with someone. If you ask about it, and they get defensive, then you probably have caught them in a workplace affair.
2. Getting texts at strange hours of the night or checking email messages constantly: It's true that all of us live in a world today where technology rules. This might be a tell tale sign if they get messages from someone who your spouse normally never communicates with, or gets messages at weird hours of the night.
3. Suddenly they like doing laundry: This one is much more geared towards the males. It's true that the modern man does laundry washing. If he doesn't have to though, then he won't. So if you are a woman, and your guy is making a bee-line to the washing machine when he gets home, this may spell trouble. It almost certainly does. If the partner is a lady, and she seems nervous about doing laundry, then her spouse should be concerned.
There are more tips in the other half of this article for spouses to use for their advantage. The signs and signals above may be seen by you already. The next phase is to think about what you will do. Look at the bright side, you will no longer be played as a fool. You know now that you have concrete evidence to work with.
