Phoenix park is one to be seen as its known as the most magnificent and largest parks of Europe. There is a visitors centre where you will find an exhibition on the history and wildlife of the park. Dublins Botanic Gardens is worth the visit, this area has over 20,000 species of plants spread out over'.5 hectares. You will find loads to look at in this area including rose gardens, wall plants, glasshouses and more. There are organised tours as well as a restaurant and exhibition area.
National Aquatic Centre: This would be a great day out for the entire family as there is enough going on to entertain everyone. You can either take a swim in the pool, float around the lazy river or take a ride down one of the many water slides. This is a perfect day for the whole family to enjoy.
One of the more popular attractions in Dublin is the Malahide castle which has a lot of Irish paintings and its history of the Tablot family and their experience of Ireland's stormy history is recorded in the great hall. You will have a great experience here and have the option of a guided tour which is done in a number of languages.
To get a good experience of the rural irish way of life there a number of tours you can take. One of the more popular ones is the rural pub tours which will take you around the Dublin and Wicklow mountains stopping in a number of the more famous pubs where you can enjoy a guinness and some traditional music.
