Do you own a website? If the answer is yes than I don't need to tell you how challenging it can be to drive traffic to your offers
Too many people get their website online under the Field Of Dreams Delusion - if you build it they will come.
And as the web grows and more website come online this is only going to become more true.
As a general rule the two most popular methods of driving traffic are search engine optimization and pay per click advertising.
So which should you choose?
There are a few different variables that will affect which path you take - but I don't think you need to think of these two strategies as being either/or.
I actually don't think you need to choose - both of these techniques work well together.
SEO is often done without doing the research into the potential profitability of their keywords.
Instead the research is focused on keyword volume and high search statistics.
So people wind up wasting months of their time targeting the wrong keywords.
And invariably one of two results occurs:
Either they can get no higher than the second or third page.
.or they achieve their front page goal only to fine they're getting no sales.
There is a different method you can use that involves using a quick hit PPC campaign as a powerful piece of market research you use for your SEO campaign.
What you are doing is using a PPC campaign to help quickly identify the keywords that have the most chance of being profitable.
This then means that any SEO campaigns you put together are immediately going to have a greater chance at success.
And obviously knowing the better keywords to target means your business is going to profit greatly when your SEO hits pay dirt.
So your confidence levels will be high as you spend the money and the time it takes to improve the search engine rankings of a website.
