Maruti Suzuki India(MSIL) is the leadingvehicle brandin the automobile industry of India and its products are plying on Indian roads for more than one decade. Marutiis planning to introduce a voluminous and light and longer edition of new Swift. It has been launched in UK in Sep, 2010 and it is recognized for its dynamics and excellent feat. Some of the significant features added in this advanced version are Bigger Head Lamps, Peeled back tail lamps, Round shaped fog lamps, enhanced steering wheel with telecommunication and music systems, integrated music system, automatic weather control system, alloy wheels for high-end variants, etc. With a refined and a packed in look, this all-new version of Swift has got the Europe’s safest car title. The unique wrap around glass area, wider body, Sporty touch and the big headlights will definitely magnetize the buyers. Overall length of the wheel base is 90mm and the car’s underbody design has been modified with a lighter body shell. 10mm front track, 5 mm rear track, silver and black gadget cluster are the added features that are enhancing the splendor of this vehicle. In the petrol versions of new model Swift, Maruti Suzuki is making some changes in engine specification. 1.3 litre petrol engine of older model is replaced by the all-new dual WT 1.2 litre engine. This slightly modified all-new engine produces 92 BHP and has a highest torque of 120Nm. This new engine has been planned with the consideration of better fuel efficiency and low Carbonemissions. This brand-new Euro 5 engine has some major features, added to provide a good driving experience and suppleness which is achieved with lower levels of mechanical friction. A customary manual gear box is offered with this new version. Rear wind shield has been modified since it needed a trouble shooting in the old Swift car.
Maruti has deliberated this vehicle with the maximum concerns of security measures and in the New Car Assessment Program it has been rated with 5 out of 5 stars. New safety systems guarantee child safety, pedestrianprotection and the travelers security from impacts from front pole and rear sides. To ensure the passengers safety, the new Swift has the seven airbags safety system which consists of the airbags for whiplash mitigating front seats and for driver’s legs. The new Swift is outfitted with newest world class strategic models and it has all the superior features of improved mileage, crash safety, improved performance and lesser CO emissions.
To improve the production of the new model of Swift, Maruti Suzuki India Limited has plans to shift the entire building processes of Swift to its Manesar Plant in 2011. This modified launch is expected to have the same cost of the previous Swift and Maruti Suzuki India Limited has the great expectations for their new release of new Swift in 2011.
