If you are an Internet Marketer then you probably are aware of much of the elements in this month’s technology update for IMs. However, you may not have begun to formulate a strategy to begin dealing with some of the more advanced technologies that are on their way in the next few years. That is the subject of this Technology Forecast.
Web 2.0 is a technology perspective rather than an actual technology per se. It is currently seen as more of a technology focus that supports an individualized interaction experience on sites of the future. In prior levels of technology - and for most IMs of today - a website provided a static wysiwyg implementation that offered little variance for how the user interacted and beheld the site.
There were typically little if any options for how the user might experience or interact with the site. That is the point of Web 2.0 focused site technologies of the future. They will provide a user-driven and customized interactive experience with a site. You can purchase and download a top registry software package that does this. They also perform the other registry fix functions that accomplish any needed Registry Repair.
We are just now starting to see the kinds of changes that this technology will bring. You will begin to see actual Web 2.0 site-development technologies on the market by late 2011. Ultimately expect to see a totally revolutionized website interactive experience.
You will be able to specify almost every element of interaction on-screen. Finally, users will be able to interact solely by finger-clicking the video skin - interacting to the smallest level of detail.
Next-generation video presentation is the next category of website advances to begin making its mark on IMs. Currently, the best of the best is a Flash video - which still needs to load and play. While they are super fast and elegant, they are only a hint of what is to come in this category. Less than 18% of IM websites have landing pages with video-only selling. The advent of YouTube and others have made it possible to do a complete selling job with no website at all. You should expect to see - within five years - literally all Google search results on its Page One to reflect video presentation, with links directly to video landing pages that auto-execute their primary videos on page-load. This is the wave of the future and faster than you can say “I used to use Flash” - there will be Web 2.0 Auto-streaming videos that play without requiring download.
The final category in this month’s technology update for IMs is HTML5. It is the hypertext language of the future with widespread application support that will greatly automate the creation of spectacular websites. The HTML5 Specification has not yet been completed and there are many remaining holes in the Spec that will only be filled in after much thrashing and potential lawsuits.
The intent of HTML5 is the replacement of static and hand-coded web application development with artificial intelligence-based auto coding software development - replacing current technology that requires hand-written code and scripts. This technology is not expected to be fully matured until about 2022, with early beta versions of its evolutionary subsets appearing in early 2013.
