Even though this HDTV isn’t very economical and hasn’t got any cool or new features, the visual quality is extremely good. Other may seem more modest for this price, but if you want to amaze your friends with all the visual details and great sceneries, you have to buy the product.

When speaking about visuals, this is actually the best there's. It has amazing hd view, with great details and superb picture quality. You'll be astounded by the way in which people’s hair and skin looks. This 42 inch plasma got a larger score than the other products in its category. It's the highest resolution plasma you'll find available on the market at this time.

The conventional definition broadcast test didn’t give this product an excellent score. The colours aren’t as bright and shiny as people expect them to be. For instance, the Vizio VP42 got a larger score in this category since it's colors were more lively and real. Nevertheless the Panasonic TH-42PZ700U does quite a good job with the standard def DVD.

The black colors are perfect and deep; they bring out the excellent quality of this product. Most of us pay more focus on the colour, graphics and options that the TV comes with however the monochrome from the images should also take closer notice.
It is important to obtain a good visual quality would be to understand how to set the TV at its best performance. Unfortunately, recption menus isn’t very helpful, everything is very hard to handle. It takes a big amount of time to create the language. Within the menu where it shows English language, whenever you click”ok” you might notice that nothing happens.

Usually, these menus are intuitive but this one isn’t at all. It actually has a little button; you will probably notice it after a long time of searching. Using that button will approve your selection, otherwise it will change it and also you won’t even know why. Such as the manual options this is more annoying that other things, as it should save automatically or give you a simpler way to make your changes permanent.

When you get to the menu where one can label input devices, fortunately you are able to skip some of them and move on. However, if this ended automatically things would have been better and faster. It’s not a significant problem, but many of these option is automatic now, so it’s very strange that Panasonic only added the manual options.
The good thing about the product is that you can set everything up effortlessly. Physically speaking, this product isn’t such as the ones that take Three hours to set up after moving away all your furniture. It features a single coaxial connector; you will discover it facing down. Also, other features include extra component video and S-Video inputs. A great aspect may be the great card reader which may be accustomed to see the photos right out of the camera.

Speakers take presctiption along side it, and you can almost miss them since they're hidden within the HDTV’s design. The placements of the speakers are sleeker than you'd normally see as they were built in and made to blend perfectly with the frame. Speaking of design, this TV includes a great elegant design, like every highly regarded brand, Panasonic chooses the classic glossy black for the TH-42PZ700U.

The remote control is big and heavy, it almost suggests this product’s high quality. However, it features a particular design as you half is filled with buttons. But you shouldn’t be worried about control, everything will run smooth since it is designed for you comfort.

Overall this product is amazing; it brings out the smallest details and it has a very improved visual quality in comparison with other HDTVs. It doesn’t have numerous features, but why can you need them if it shows perfect pictures at the best quality you can buy. Although it’s a little bit pricey, you should purchase it should you be looking for video quality.
