I have like millions of other players been playing Mafia games on and off for a long time. Seems like I have a competitive streak because I found myself looking for a way to win more fights and improve my stats. I was getting fed up with putting out requests for people to join my mafia and not getting many responses.
So began my quest to improve and learn.
It did not take me long to start to get confused with all the information on the Internet about Mafia Wars try it! I got totally brain dead trying to work out what is a legal and what were illegal.
I tried a few of the free ones and some were great, but it was like they were holding back the whole picture only giving me a glimpse, a taster of what they knew.
Could I Be Banned From Mafia Wars?
I really began to worry that my account might get banned you see I started looking at strategies that just did not seem to add up. I posted a few comments asking if they were legal and basically got laughed at. Apparently they were not legal but they did not care was not their stats at risk.
I had put in many hours to get to my level. I was not about to lose all my hard work because of something posted on an anonymous site by someone I did not know. For all I knew they put them up just to mess with other Mafia s.
You see I know first hand that you can get banned for doing anything illegal my roommate who sits opposite me while we play on our laptops got his Mafia Wars account shut down. No warning he went to log in at it was gone. Granted he had been using a lot of odd codes that he had picked up all over the place twittered to him and from his own searching. He was a miserable person to live with for more than a few weeks.
Are Legal Mafia Wars Guides As Good?
Good question! I too wondered if the legal Mafia Wars Guides would work or not. Seems like sometimes when something says legal it not as appealing as illegal. Not sure why but when it comes to Mafia Wars and the whole nature of the game illegal seems to have a strong pull.
Determined not to lose his stats again my friend decided that he would do a little research on the legal strategy guides. He soon passed that job onto me he was still trying to get his ranking back up and reclaim his family members.
I boiled it down to a few that I liked based on a few points that was important to us.
Godfather points I needed more and was not about to pay for them.

Cuba and Russia So frustrating when you cannot help your Mafia family out in Cuba and Russia!
Weapons what order should I buy them in? Should I sell them?
Jobs I wanted to get through them fast
Energy Yep, always waiting for it so that I can do an important job
Who Knew Written by someone who knows what they are talking about
Family I seemed to have a nice size family but I wanted top players
Which Mafia Guide?
Well I went into this research like an tax accountant trying to get Donald Trump a write off.
Which Mafia guide came out top?
To be honest since they are really cheap between us we purchased 3! Greedy or just competitive? I am not sure! So here are the ones we have and others we researched (including nagging our friends about the ones they already had).
In order of current preference:
1. Dominate Mafia Wars More of our friends have this one than any other and it comes with free updates!
2. Mafia Wars Blueprint Was a very close second and may take over from Domintate Mafia Wars. The underground top Mafia boss who wrote this knows what he is talking about. His video stats will make you drool!
3. Mafia Wars Sniper This is really only in third place because it is brand new and we have not had time to try out everything. But we are getting great reports back and it is the only one with Video training!
4. Mafia Wars Secrets This is one of the originals and is a great guide and best of all it is cheaper than the rest & Free Godfather bonus pdf.
Well that s our current choices that are apt to change as other legal cheat guides hit the market. All four of these get rave reports from our mafia families yep we are doing well in the game now. What a huge difference when you know how to really play it to dominate.
Simple Tips For Mafia Wars Players
Here are a few tips that we picked up. They are pretty basic but it did take us a little trial and error to realize some of our mistakes.
Weapons Only buy what you need for the job. Do not buy everything available!
Godfather points Yep, you can buy them but it is easy to earn them.
Money Get it in the bank! Sure they take 10 but if you lose a fight they other mafia gets it all.
Properties Great investment provided you take your earnings otherwise, it too is lost in fights. Also make sure you have enough money for their upkeep.
Gifts check often to see if other players have given you a gift. Not only are they useful but they expire if not claimed in a certain amount of time. Worth logging in and checking just to claim them.
Family give gifts, they do return them often. I have got a lot of stuff this way including uncensored cell phone (I had 5 so gave some back).
Jobs Finish the jobs. Tempting to do jobs in higher levels but finish the ones, you have first.
Well, I am sure many of you know all this already but maybe I got to help someone : )
Of course, I can not give away the secrets in the guides that would be illegal!
If like me you have been playing Mafia Wars on Facebook, or maybe you prefer MySpace or your iPhone, you are perhaps wondering how to get points and build your mafia quicker.
It can be fun but also frustrating and perhaps like me causing you to go hunting the internet for ideas and strategies. These strategies can certainly boost your game but be aware that some of the illegal ones can also get you banned. I for one did not want to lose my hard earned status in Mafia Wars.
