Other uses of metspar include the manufacture of fire retardant clothes and plastics such as Teflon. The purest form of the mineral is used for the manufacture of hydrofluoric acid. In order to use it in this industry, you need to have highly purified form of it which should be at least 97% Calcium fluoride.
