So many people eek by with such a meager existence, never daring to dream big let alone live that dream.
We often think going into our own business that we found our passion, only to realize the menial tasks we find ourselves doing on a day to day business is taking the joy out of what we thought we wanted to do.
It is a shame that so many people are living out of a state of constant fear. Fear that they might lose their job or their business. Fear that if they take a leap of faith, they won't know what to do next. Fear that they will fail.
In order to find the direction in life that we were meant to take, we must learn to control our fears and begin taking one step at a time towards what we want to accomplish. We must also learn to become comfortable with knowing that it is ok not to know exactly what it is we want as long as we remain on the journey with an open heart and mind.
Having a sense of passion and living from that sense is the only way to truly acquire a more enriching life.
The best way to true happiness after all, is living from a deep feeling of purpose in all that you do.
So if you would like to know how to connect or even reconnect with your passion, I am going to give you a few recommendations to do just that.
Pay attention to your tone of voice. When you get excited about a topic, your rate of speech quickens and your conversation about that topic could go on forever, you have found a passion.
When you want to know more about a topic and could spend hours researching it on the Internet, than you have found a passion.
If you see a problem that makes the wheels start turning about a way to create a solution, then you have found something you are passionate about.
Take out a pen and paper then start writing down the things you enjoy. Do not think about it, just write as fast and frequently as you can. You will discover a bunch of things you are passionate about.
All in all these are rather elementary exercise but will worth the few minutes of effort it will take as every journey must begin with the first step.
Of course once you have found your passion you have to start living out of that passion and learn how to best monetize it because you do deserve to be paid for what you are passionate about.
