How much different would things look for you if you were able to make a fulltime income doing the thing you were most passionate about in life?
What could be better to someone who is truly passionate about traveling then being a part of a travel show and going on trips to new and exotic places all over the globe that someone else is not only paying for but paying you to do?
Naturally there is a lot of hard work going on behind the scenes in the process but if traveling is your passion then surely that is a great way to make a living.
This is what makes living from a place of passion so much fun and no matter what your passion is there is a way to make a living doing it.
It's a sad truth most of us have been steered towards that traditional kind of living that says be an honor student, go to college, get a degree, and hope that your company will honor your retirement if it even offers one.
This kind of living may have been acceptable advice a few generations ago even if it wasn't an ideal way to go about things but nowadays it is just flat out wrong to steer someone into a job or career that is about as stable as the San Andrea's fault line.
We are about to go on a fabulous journey of pure excitement as you learn how to profit from your passion!
Take some time to distinguish what you like from what you are really passionate about. I enjoy making good BBQ but it's not something I am really passionate about. The idea of me opening up a BBQ joint and slaving over a hot pit all day everyday just isn't my idea of joy even though I like to do it once in awhile.
Once you find your passion, think about it from different points of view. Expand on the various options your passion could go in. Too often people think about what they love and then pigeonhole themselves in one tiny segment when a niche always involves several avenues.
Yes on a travel show there is the main host but there is a whole group of people on site at all times recording, setting things up, producing, etc. There is always more than just one way to live your passion and to profit from it.
Once you have discovered where your heart really lies and come up with a few ideas on what the best way for you to approach your passion is, it is time to really focus and hone down on things. Dedicate an hour or two to making your life the way you really want it to be.
