If you haven't been correctly hydrated the germs in your system will simply hang out and get stronger instead of being forced out. Remember: you can last for about 7 days with no needing to take in more solid food. Without h2o, you may only last a day or two. Doesn't this make the importance of suitable hydration hit home?
The common cold does not obviously have a proper cure. All you have is your personal good sense and good preventative procedures like keeping clean, resting a lot and drinking a good amount of water.
