I operate a pc repair business in Atlanta, GA. And while I actually do a reasonable quantity of the work myself, we're currently testing out new sub contractors. You would be amazed at the variety of answers we get from people.

Earlier today I'd a client who needed to take the Bar exam on Tuesday, she had one impressive software which was essential for her to complete the exam but her computer was causing problems with viruses. So, we originally scheduled a sub to visit out and focus on her computer. I had to speak to him since the lead tech/business owner. And he was saying he'd need to reinstall windows, she'd lose her files and everything else. It was a sub who looked good on paper, 15 years of experience mostly working for himsefl.

I had been in a position to navigate to the clients, and within 25 minutes I had every vestige from the virus completely cancelled and needless to say my client was thrilled.

Another incident this past week, we had another sub out to visit a repeat client within Atlanta, and he calls us back having a preliminary estimate of 5 hours to repair the computer. Which at $90 an hour or so isn't a small matter. We had to directly intervene within this call too, and were able to get the job done within an hour and 15 minutes. Our policy could it be should just take 2 hours or less for one physical computer there is no reason for it to take such a long time.

My point is, you can never be rather sure what you are getting whenever you hire some type of computer repair company. While the technician can sound very knowledgeable and also the advice you're getting seems reasonable, unless you're very knowledgeable you are likely to get fooled like this.

The very best technicians are the ones who understand that the cash isn't made in something call on the very first visit but rather from repeat business year after year. If you charge a reasonable price and give great service most clients would love to have you back out instead of another person. Charging someone $400 about the first call won't make you any friends.

An essential question you need to ask is when many hours is the typical service call, and have you got a cap about the time on anyone computer? I hope this advice helps you when you are looking for computer repairs anytime soon.
