Warner Bros. delivered their urban comedy flick labeled "Lottery Ticket" into theaters in 2010,and it was chalked full of jokes and high intensity drama,especially close to the end with rapper Bow Wow and a lot of other stars. It features: Bow Wow, Ice Cube, Brandon T. Jackson, Naturi Naughton, Keith David, Charles Q. Murphy, Loretta Devine, Terry Crews, and Bill Bellamy.
"Lottery Ticket" revolved around a male named Kevin Carson (Bow Wow) who lives in the hood and works at Foot Locker. He hangs out with his best chum Benny a lot and runs into difficulties with a local felon Lorenzo (Gbenga Akinnagbe) . On the other hand, his life takes a profound change when he winds up winning the lottery after receiving the correct digits from a fortune cookie.
When word gets out that he won the lottery, the whole neighborhood starts trying to hunt him down,to obtain stuff. He ultimately ends up falling into a bind with a loan shark after getting jacked for his lottery ticket by the local felon Lorenzo.
However, Kevin gets help from an unlikely older male friend named Mr. Washington (Ice Cube). It wrapped up with a nice,dramatic ending. I think overall, the flick was incredibly humorous,particularly after Kevin won the lottery,and everybody started going insane. It also delivered some pretty good drama between Bow Wow, Brandon T, Jackson,and Gbenga Akinnagbe's characters.
The movie also featured stars, T-Pain and Bill Bellamy. They delivered some pretty funny scenes. I never found a dull or boring moment while watching this film,so I believed it was very enjoyable even though the top movie critics gave it mixed reviews. I gave this movie a good B grade.
