When I imagine visiting a country like Argentina I think mainly of the natural surroundings of the country. The beef also springs to mind, let us not forget Argentina is one of the principal suppliers of meat to many of our fast food chains.
There are so many good reasons to come visit this unique country in 2011 / 2012 on your annual vacation. I’d like to share with you just three of the most persuasive reasons to go I can think of:
1.Iguazu Falls, possibly one of the most beautiful falls in the whole World. If you didn’t know this waterfall was featured on one of the James Bond movies. Many visitors come to Argentina in chase of such scenes of natural beauty. Much of the countries stunning waterfalls are located between Brazil and Argentina. Iguazu falls can be viewed from under the actual falls via an organised boat trip from the conservation park nearby.
2.The capital city of Argentina - Buenos Aires is one of beauty, packed with such a wide variety of peoples forms a broad society of people. Famed for its cross between urban and keeping with its natural heritage the city offers visitors and locals alike the usual entertainment options available throughout the best cities in the world: shopping, night life, cafes, museums, libraries and many many tourist attractions. Did you know that Tango was born in this city? Places of interest of Buenos Aires has to offer you as a tourist include: the “old bohemian neighbourhood†located in the cobbled streets of San Telmo, also worth visiting is the famous “Recoleta Cemetery†which is home to ornate mausoleums, which you may or may not be aware of but is the resting place of Evita.
3.National Parks â€" Argentina is home to some of the most visually stunning conservation areas in all of America, perhaps the World. Many of the national parks here are designated UNESCO national heritage sites, hopefully meaning that they can never be developed. One park Glaciers national park is home to an amazing glacier over 3 miles long which is situated amongst nearly 1,500,000 acres of conservation land including lush rainforest, rugged landscape and lakes.
