It is great to go and look back at the history of women's gymnastics.

The years of training shows in every photo. I enjoy looking at the photos with my little girls to show them how each gymnastic routine should look. From the straight legs to the pointed toes. The gymnastic pictures are there to keep our future in gymnastics going. It encourages young girls to train hard and do their best. Every young girl should have a heroine to look up to. Why not make it a famous gymnast such as Cathy Rigby, Mary Lou Retton, Shawn Johnson or Nastia Liukin.
My young granddaughter watched Nastia Liukin participate at the Beijing. She was in love. We begun recording all the Woman's gymnastics events so she could watch them over and over. Soon after the cartwheels begun and now she's trying to do on kip ups and front handsprings. I find it to be fantastic that we can research on the the web several of the gymnastic pictures and we can sit and look at the moments and look at them together.
There is so much more illumination that we can research today just by looking things up online. Gymnastic pictures are at our disposal and there is no limit. Instead of having an old fashion scrap book of all the photos of the gymnast you can do an online scrap book and have as many as you want and dream as high as you can. There are decades of photos and descriptions posted for any sports enthusiast to read and look through at their own time. There are quit a few blogs and articles from everywhere.
