DreamWorks Flicks circulated their action/sci-fi flick called "I Am Number Four" into theaters recently. I watched it, and let me tell you, this was quite possibly the most awesome motion pictures I've observed in a while. It featured a lot of action, special effects, and drama. It seriously left me wanting more, and from the looks of it,this might be a continuous franchise. It stars: Alex Pettyfer, Timothy Olyphant, Teresa Palmer, Dianna Agron, Kevin Durand, and Callan McAuliffe.
The movie revolved around character John who's a teen from another planet that escaped, together with his protector Henri (Timothy Olyphant) . There are actually others like him on the globe, however, they're getting destroyed by hateful warriors from his planet. Each of John's kind are tagged with a number. John is, in fact, number 4,and the evil ones are doing away with his kind off in chronological order. Everytime one got slain, John's leg would glow, and leave a scar for that victim.
The last victim was number 3,so he new he was next, and so did Henri. To hide from this terrible experience, they hit the path again and put on another identification disguise to protect him from the wicked aliens. The sad thing is,they are close on his scent now since his number is the next one in line. In the mean time, in John's current town in Ohio, he forms extremely tough ties with a few people, especially with a female named Sarah (Dianna Agron) .
When it's time for him to go out of Ohio, he doesn't desire to and refuses to go when Henri makes an effort to coerce him. Soon after that, the best hardships arose, and we got to see how powerful John truly is. He began crafting his powers in the new town, when this movie came to an end,he was kicking some major booty, along with a new chick who ended up on the scene to rescue him at some point, claiming she was number six (Palmer) .
After she appeared,it really got interesting because the movie featured number six vanishing and reappearing, slicing up wicked peeps left and right,John joining in on the action by chopping people up with his power,a large monster protector dog battling another huge creature, and more in an attempt to preserve the world from getting taken over by these bad guys.
Lastly, when the crazy dust settled, I was completely impressed and screaming, sequel! They certainly did leave it open for a sequel, and also gave ideas as to what might come in a future movie if it were to take place.
Again, I think the flick was radically entertaining. Alex Pettyfer did an awesome job as the intense young alien, new guy. Glee's Dianna Agron was extremely cute. She also did a great job acting too, lol!! I gave this flick an A grade.
