With the Grammys just behind us, the winners decided and wondering what to do with all these statues, you may be assuming that awards season is done. You’d be somewhat correct right â€" although you won’t be seeing the results on the television, there are still a bunch of awards about to be given out. Each year, About.com awards the Reader’s Choice Awards recognizing achievementsfor anything from Best TV Brand to Best Overall Add-On. There’s even a category for Best Favorite Special-Needs Parenting Blog. It’s pretty reasonable, then, that one of the most avidly debated and voted in categories is the Best Mobile Browser category, that has five finalists: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, and Safari. These very same five browsers were also the finalists last year, because only the most widely used browsers can be considered.
The 2010 results gave the prize to Opera, with 51% of the vote, and Firefox coming up close behind with 41% in second place. Surprisingly, only one percent of the vote for 2011 or 2010 went to Internet Explorer and Safari, the standard web browsers for Windows and Mac. Even though the vote tally should be enough evidence to compel you, it's been shown repeatedly that newer browsers like Firefox, Opera, and Chrome are faster, safer, and more reliable. Every one of the browsers are free, and have unique functions and add-ons for you to choose from. A Mozilla Firefox free download, for example, will take only moments and is always available on their website.
This time, the votes are extremely different, with Chrome in the head at 38% and fourteen thousand, three hundred and twenty two votes so far. Firefox is again falling in second, with 32% of the vote. Opera has plunged since last year, and is only lying at 27% this year. It seems Chrome, the Google browser, has jumped wildly in popularity in the last year, or else the poll has simply charmed more Chrome users more than before. Internet Explorer and Safari together have less than five hundred votes, again establishing them as stand-ins, only used once to get on the net and download Firefox free.
So, you may be asking, when do we get to find out who wins? Voting started on February 11, and ends March 8, with winners announced on March 15. Although Chrome is still at the top, it’s too early to tell for certain who will come out as the winner. It’s never too late to cast your own vote, not only for Best Browser, but for any other topic pertaining to your interests. No shadysketchy academy giving awards to actors regardless of their current film’s quality, the About.com awards are picked only by users. Should you wish to make a very informed decision about which browser is really best, giving each browser a go isn’t a bad idea. Opera, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox download in less than a few minutes each, and takes very little space on your hard drive, and uninstalling whichever you don’t like is just as quick. If you already have a favorite browser picked out, head over to the website make your voice heard!

I design websites, so browsers mean the world to me. While I wouldn't want to influence anyone's vote, I really think everyone should just download firefox free online. It's safe, it works, and you can find a mozilla firefox download fast.
