Summit circulated their new action/drama flick called "Drive Angry 3D" into movie theaters a couple of days ago. I just watched it,and thought it was a lot of fun to watch.
It presented a lot of action scenes,in addition to a very bizarre storyline. I'm still trying to puzzle out all the details of it. The motion picture features: Nicolas Cage, William Fichtner, Amber Heard, Billy Burke, Simona Williams, and Katy Mixon.
The film centered around a guy named Milton who's an extremely rough ex-con that is on the pathway to go get his granddaughter before she's killed by some type of extreme cult, led by a chap named Jonah King . Milton eventually runs into a very eye-catching female named Piper when her car breaks down on the side of the road. He agrees to fix it if she gave him a ride.
Briefly after that, Milton rescues Piper from her chaotic boyfriend, and drives off with her and her car to continue his mission. Since Milton was able to save Piper after getting pummelled by her boyfriend, she inevitably gets pulled into his mess of a life where numerous males are usually trying to eliminate him. On the other hand,Piper is more than up for the obstacle as she's just as tough as she is gorgeous.
They haul it across the nation, avoiding a whole team of policemen that are looking to murder them,in addition to a strange guy, claiming he's "The Accountant." It was never 100 % spelled out who "The Accountant" was,but he was not human because he had supernatural powers and was quite ruthless. It was also unveiled in the final scenes that he had something to do with Milton still being alive. Again,it was very peculiar, but nevertheless entertaining.
Milton and Piper went through mad events to retrieve the toddler. The film displayed outrageous car chases, individuals getting shot at,explosions, and more. It was incredibly wild. As it drew to an ending, the intensity enhanced, giving it a really drama/action-filled conclusion.
I really liked watching the flick. It never had a boring moment. I was 100 % interested the entire time. Nicolas did a great job playing the intense Milton character. Amber Heard is a total cute female ,and Twilight Saga's Billy Burke did an incredible job portraying the evil cult guy with a Southern Accent.
There was some odd things going on with the storyline as some important things weren't thoroughly explained,or explained at all. I gave the film an A score.
