This artist prefers not following another drumming. She likes making new beats on her own. This artist from Pratt, Kansas is a painter and stained glass artist and creates her own art. She actually was finding it difficult looking for a name as it was so unique.
She believes in being unique and not following everyone. As she could not make a choice between stained glass work and painting, she decided to use both the techniques to create a unique piece of art. She can see an image as soon as she looks at a piece of glass and hence it is easier for her to paint. Many people often do not realize that this is the thing to look for.
Images are present in the glass, you simply need to look for them. She is very particular and likes buying stained glass from Wichita and Hutchinson only. The designs in the glass create a bullet hole in the chief's chest and a shroud over the face. To give the painting a final look, she painted facial features and a rustic background on the glass.
No one seems to have used the combination of painting and stained glass, is what she believes. As no one has thought of this earlier, it is extremely thrilling to do it.
She makes amazing artwork in a studio which is located at the back of her pet house. She runs a pet store apart from the art and glass studio. People expect me to keep pets as I have had them from a long time now.
She keeps herself busy with art classes at the Pratt Community College, and private lessons in stained glass, art work and painting. The guy, one who comes on television using a great big paintbrush, is a real Dutch.
She teaches a much easier method of painting a stained glass. She developed this method on her own by combining the easiest parts of the six different methods she had learnt. Most probably she will be exhibiting her stained glass work in Wichita. While exhibiting her stained glass painting, she will also be painting pieces of glass that are chosen by the participants.
She was careful of not letting all her trade secrets and only said that she uses some amount of oil paint on stained glass and other paints as a base. The fact that she and her husband are intensely interested in arts could be because of their Indian origin.
Her husband does silversmith work, using such common kitchen utensils as knives and forks for much of his work. As a matter of fact, the jewelry that many famous country musicians wear was given by him. Descending from an Indian background, their attraction towards arts is well understood.
