Being a career network marketer is great as long as you're making enough sales. For both beginners and seasoned entrepreneurs, one constant struggle I keep hearing about is not getting enough quality MLM leads. Naturally, you get some good leads and you get some bad ones, but MLM success requires a flood of targeted leads. So how do you keep up with the evolving nature of the online world and get enough leads to effectively grow your business.
To overcome this common obstacle, let's look at what's really going on in the MLM industry. Network marketers seem to be trying everything to convince others to join their opportunities. One reason this doesn't work is because MLM is generally perceived as a pyramid scam.
The MLM business model is different than a pyramid scheme because MLM programs focus on selling products and training distributors. However, it's not always easy to explain this. Look for prospects that are business minded, educated, and driven to achieve their financial goals.
Aside from that, the best way to convince your prospects to do business with you is to prove to them that the MLM system you're using actually works. One thing to keep in mind is that your prospects should be seeking you out, and not the other way around.
So, how do you do this? Think about this: You shouldn't be chasing down prospects that aren't even interested in what you have to offer. With that being said, consider the people you've invited to join your opportunity. If they really want in on your business, why would you even have to follow up with them? They have enough information to make an informed decision. Let them come to you. Show your prospects the value you have to offer and what it can do for those who need it.
You read that correctly. Target those who actually want what you are selling. If you're selling a weight loss supplement, find people who are struggling with obesity and give them some information on how your product can help improve their health. Does your product help suppress appetite? Does it improve cardio vascular health? Or does it increase energy levels?
There are so many ways to make an MLM program work. Your job is to offer products creatively. They obviously need what you're selling, so make them want it. It's really that simple.
