Columbia Flicks presented an action picture named "The Green Hornet" into movie theaters a couple of weeks ago. I viewed it,and it was significantly better than I believed it would be,specially in the action department. It truly delivered nonstop action over the flick. The flick featured: Seth Rogen, Jay Chou, Cameron Diaz, Christoph Waltz, Edward James Olmos, David Harbour, and Tom Wilkinson.
The flick focused on two guys named Britt aka Green Hornet and Kato. Britt spent virtually all of his early life partying on his rich father's dollar, while Kato worked as a mechanic for his pops, and he also made one hell of a cup of coffee.
Unfortunately, Britt's daddy passes away by an alleged bee sting that he was highly allergic to. From then on, Britt took over control of everything his papa owned, most notably his highly successful newspaper. Britt feels quite happy with leaving control of the paper to his father's right-hand man,so he is able to do other loco things. He ultimately meets and become friends with Kato after he finds out his coffee just doesn't taste quite right anymore on account of Kato getting fired.
The two eventually start battling crime as the Green Hornet and Kato after Britt discovers that Kato can definitely kick butt, combined with being a great mechanic and coffee brewer. Furthermore, they get the attractive Lenore Case to become their journalist at the paper, and soon find that the paper was largely being controlled by a criminal organization, which inevitably led to his father's death.
This fact leads to a great,action-filled showdown towards the conclusion, which resulted in a whole lot of stuff torn up and blown up. The flick was great mainly because it featured automobile chases, gun shootouts, comical moments, fighting, and more. Also, Britt and Kato's relationship did not go without turbulence because they had to fight it out in an exceedingly intense scene,so it also delivered a good deal on the drama side of things.
I believed John Cho really did a wonderful job playing Kato. Seth was excellent as the awkward Green Hornet, and Cameron Diaz was fiery and gorgeous. I gave the flick an An all the way.
