Elvis was brought into the world by God on January 8, 1935. Young Elvis was one of two identical twins. His elder sibling, Jesse Garon Presley, whom was born 35 minutes in advance of Elvis, passed away at birth. Elvis' mom and dad was 22 year old Gladys, and 18 year old Vernon. Elvis as an only young child had been particularly bonded and close to each of his parents growing up, particularly with his mom.
