20th Century Fox Flicks presented their fresh comedy, adventure flick named "Gulliver's Travel" into movie theaters a while back. I finally watched it,and believed it was rather funny.
On the other hand,it got a tad foolish towards the end. Overall, though,it was surprisingly good. The motion picture features: Jack Black, Emily Blunt, Jason Segel, Amanda Peet, Billy Connolly, James Corden, Catherine Tate, and Chris O'Dowd.
The movie revolved around a gentleman named Gulliver who is a low confident, mail room worker that has a major infatuation on a girl at the job named Darcy Silverman. In a failed attempt to ask her out on a date, he ends up requesting a writing/traveling occupation.
Gulliver eventually lands the job through plagiarism, and it puts him on a boat vacation to the bizarre Bermuda Triangle. During his trip,he out of the blue gets embroiled in an ocean vortex that takes him to the territory of Lilliput, which is populated by just very little individuals.
The people tie him up and treat him like a beast in the beginning, but after he saves the king's life, he gets handled like royalty and becomes their protector. In some crazy turn of events, he inevitably lets them down as his factual identity gets made known. He is then banished from their land.
The movie concludes with Gulliver heading back and proving that he's much more than just a liability. It featured a lot of amusing scenes, including Gulliver pissing on the castle to put out a fire,Gulliver dancing all over the place, and more.
It got sort of absurd for me at the end with all the singing and dancing stuff, but overall, I was entertained throughout the entire show. Jack Black, certainly, did a fantastic job . He's always very funny to watch. I gave the motion picture a B score.
