A few nights on board the Coral Princess cruise ship they had Singing challenge and the winners from each night's competition were invited back to compete in the Princess Pop Star challenge.
The wonderful cruise was a 16 day cruise which left San Pedro California, visiting Cabo San Lucas, Acapulco and Huatulco Mexico, Puntarenas Costa Rica, Panama City Panama, Panama Canal, Oranjestad Aruba and Cartagena Colombia then arriving in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Overall the cruise was an glorious experience with Plenty of action and good times. Karaoke contest are one of the popular activates onboard the cruise ship and a fun way to sit back, dance, have a couple drinks or just enjoy yourself grooving to the music.
They played a beautiful blend of the music during the karaoke competition. We had a variety of sounds ranging from good old Frankie Blue Eyes (Frank Sinatra) to rhythm and blues Diva Mary J Blige.
The good-looking D Sterlin was one of the competitors earning her way into the Princess Pop Star contest by winning a karaoke contest during the start of our cruise. D has a singing background with the Tampa Bay's Children Choir so good music and singing she has always been very excited about since a child.
The Princess Pop Star karaoke contest competition was the bomb. Every competitor had their own unique talents. As shown in the video on my blog all the competitors were superb and all winners in my eyes.
The woman who sings Tina Turner wins and you must check out the video to see her shaking her body, you'll be entertained to say the least. The good-looking D Sterlin sings a song called "Count On Me" by Whitney Houston and Cece Winans.
After D's touching performance the judges decided to really hand it to her, criticizing every key element of her performance. There were 3 judges who all had their own unique professional music backgrounds and bits of advice to share. In the video you will notice her wearing a beautiful yellow dress we bought in Acapulco, Mexico.
The Princess Pop Star karaoke contest was an impressive experience I will never forget. D Sterlin sings like an angel and continues to touch my soul. Maybe one day she will perform in a near you and be able to bless you with her heart and spirit the same way she does for me. Coming soon to a karaoke contest near you.
