Disney distributed a brand new sci-fi,action film branded "TRON Legacy" into movie theaters a few months ago. I watched it, and I thought it was undoubtedly fantastic.
The fantastic storyline and wonderful action scenes kept me really interested in it the whole time. The movie stars: Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Bruce Boxleitner, James Frain, Beau Garrett, and Michael Sheen.
The motion picture centered around a dude named Sam Flynn who is a fairly untamed 27 year old that likes to pull pranks on his Daddy's company with virtually no dreams for ever taking it over. Sam also wonders where his biological dad Kevin disappeared to when he was a youngster.
He after a while gets a strange pager message ,which leads him to his daddy's arcade where he ultimately discovers a secret project his biological dad ran. The next thing you know, he started the portal and away he went to a place named the grid,a kind of dream world that his papa built before it was taken over by a program he developed named Clu.
Clu similar looks as Kevin Flynn, but he was far from Kevin Flynn. He apparently flipped against Kevin, and wanted to get his hands on a disk of his that could show him how to get into the real-world. Kevin couldn't allow that to come about,so he went away into hiding, forcing him to turn into a prisoner in the place he created, in the past.
Sam finally discovers his dad,and they find a way to escape without Clu obtaining the disk. Having said that, it wasn't easy as they faced action-filled motorcycle attacks, space ship attacks, hand to hand fighting, and more. The scenes were fantastic and exciting. It was quite an unique movie to see.
It featured scenes of a younger Jeff Bridges because his alter ego Clu looked identical to him,but never aged. Twilight Saga's Michael Sheen made an appearance in the film as the bad Castor/Zuse character who liked to play tricks. It was a very entertaining 3D viewing experience. I gave the film a solid A score.
