It only seems natural for a man to have flashbacks of his ex-girlfriend. Even to this day I can look pack on ghosts of my former relationships and remember them with fondness. But, for some men, they cannot seem to get past that one woman that stole their heart. You might have just recently broken up with your girlfriend, only to find that with each passing day, you remember her more fondly and with more desire to reconcile with her.
Should you go after your ex-girlfriend?
While this would seem to be a question answered with a flat yes or a no, the truth is, it all depends. There are so many reasons, so many factors why a couple will split up, that there are no blanket statements that can cover every single one of them.
Do you think that things will be different now?
If you honestly believe that there will be changes and that you and your ex girlfriend can get past all of the challenges and the past disagreements that caused your relationship to end, then, it is entirely possible that you can and should attract her back. However, if in all likelihood, it will just be a repeat of the past and nothing will change, then you may want to reconsider.
Why do so many men fail to get back with their ex-girlfriend?
Simply put, they go about it all WRONG. Instead of working to rebuild the attraction that they had with their ex girlfriend, they do more to cause her to want to pull away. Things like calling her on the phone and wanting to know where she is, what she is doing, and whom she is with are all things that will cause her to want to get further away from you.
You have to regain your composure.
When you approach your ex-girlfriend, she has to see you as still being the kind of man that she wants to date and be in a relationship with. If not, then she is going to look for the greener grass on the other side of the fence. And this is usually what winds up happening.
What can you do differently?
Instead of becoming a thorn in her side by sweating her every movement, you want to give her the freedom of just being herself. You want her to see YOU as the kind of man that will NEVER try to push her back into a relationship. Always keep it in your mind, that your duty, your job, is to ATTRACT her back.
Anything else will just cause her to want to be done with you. And at the end of the day, would you really blame her? Would YOU get together with a woman that was trying to FORCE a relationship on you?
Probably not.
So, if you do decide that it is worth it to chase the past and try and make your ex girlfriend your present one, then always be the man that she can have a solid relationship with. Always be the man that allows her to just be her.
