Designed for the heaviest duty users such as print and copy shops, binderies and large organizations, the Rhino Tuff HD6500 is a machine that offers top of the line flexibility and capacity. Here are five good reasons to give some very serious consideration to this machine if you are in the market for a large capacity binding punch.

1. Capacity. This is a machine that means business when it comes to punching capacity. For spiral coil binding, this machine will give you the ability punch 30 sheets per lift, and if you are just doing a basic three hole or Velobind punch, the HD6500 can power through 50 sheets at a time. There aren t a lot, if any, machines on the market with that pack that kind of punch.

2. Versatility. And we mean versatility. There are over twenty interchangeable dies available for the HD6500. When you order, the die of your choosing is included, that after that you have the ability to order as many as you like when you like. All of the major binding styles are available, such as three hole, Velobind, plastic comb, and spiral coil. There are very few machines out there that will give you this kind of flexibility in your binding options. Changing the dies is a fairly easy process, taking a matter of minutes.

3. Wide Throat. The punching throat of the HD6500 is a nice and wide fourteen inches. That will get you easily through legal sized sheets and anything smaller, and you ll also be happy to know that with its open throat design, along with its fully disengageable pins the HD6500 will allow you to punch just about any size document. When we said versatility, we meant versatility.

4. Heavy Duty Construction. With a name like Rhino Tuff, it better be built to last, and it is. The HD6500 s casing, body, and all major components (even the chip tray!) are made of high quality steel, and by all appearances, this is a machine that was clearly designed to give you years of trouble free use. But if you know anything about the binding machine industry, you know that ruggedness and durability is the norm for Rhino Tuff machines.

5. Design and Innovation. Other than the interchangeable dies, the HD6500 also includes Rhino s patented anti jam feature, which senses overfeeds and triggers an auto reverse to keep the machine from experiencing a paper jam. The HD6500 also features a vertical punching throat, a great innovation that allows you to use gravity to help ensure that your stack is perfectly aligned before you do your punching. You can operate the HD6500 three ways: either with the foot pedal, the versa switch, or the palm switch. And last but not least, you can either attach your finishing equipment (such as spiral coil inserters, wire closers, or comb openers) to the top of the machine, or you can put them on the side, allowing you to do some serious assembly line style production if need be.
