Cereals and grains can likewise be given to your pet bird. Some treats contain carbohydrates and protein so only fill up their plate and then check them munch it out.

Nuts are also a delicious treat that your pet bird will enjoy. If they don't eat it, this can also be used to exercise their beaks. Only be sure the diversity of nuts you make is both clean and unsalted.
