It is mainly because the longetivity of our lives will depend on our health. If we are practicing healthy living, then we should expect to live longer and happier. But for people who are not too conscious about their health, then you might not live that long. Today more and more people are practicing habits that are bad for our health and this should definitely be stopped now. Usually these habits occur when a person is too busy to do the healthier things in life, such as eating healthy foods, eating on time, and avoiding stress. If you are studying or working, not eating healthily can cause you to lack energy during class or during work time.
Fortunately, I have gathered some of the things that you should avoid to have a healthier lifestyle. All you have to do is to follow and avoid these things, for you to succeed in living healthily.
People think that skipping breakfast is fine since they can eat a lot during lunch time. But what they don't know is that, they are skipping the most important meal of the day. Some people usually drink coffee or something hot during breakfast, because they thought that drinking something hot will give them the energy that they need. In case you don't know, the level of blood sugar may decrease once you skip your breakfast. When your blood sugar is low, the nutrients that your body will be receiving will also be lessened which is not good. Your brain will experience degeneration, and of course you don't want that to happen right. Another bad habit that we people do is eating too much, which is also not good for the body and the brain. The arteries in your brain will become hard, and can lead to mental power.
Smoking is common to a lot of people, because they see this as a way to get over stress. A high amount of nicotine is inside each cigarette sticks, and this nicotine is obviously not good for our health. A lot of people are developing lung cancer due to smoking, and not only this. Some people are experiencing brain shrinkage, which will develop into Alzheimer's later on in their lives.
Chocolates are good for our body, but eating too much chocolate is not good for our body. Some people turn to chocolates or any sweet foods when they are stressed, and this is not a good thing. Your blood sugar will obviously rise, and can lead to diabetes. The brain's absorption of nutrients and proteins will also be interrupted, and of course your brain will surely suffer. Malnutrition may also occur when eating high amount of sugar.
Following these simple tips is not difficult. All you have to do is to have the right discipline, for you to be able to achieve living healthily.
