Rift, initially named Rift Planes of Telara is a MMORPG by Trion Worlds which features two main factions. These two factions are the Guardians and the Defiant. PvP is a feature that is available in almost all MMORPGs. One player sends a challenge invite to fight against each other and usually the other player can choose whether to accept or decline the challenge.
There are a total of four classes with several subclasses (known as souls in Rift) for each class that gamers can choose from. The four main classes are the warrior, rogue, cleric and the mage class. Some are tanks while others are more adept to the elements and the use of forces.
The Guardians are the protectors of Telara. The faction is associated to law, order and judgment. The faction believes that everything they do is for the good of their people. They also believe that they serve the good by showing their efforts to protect the world from the rifts. According to the Guardians, the planes are clashing and this will bring about the end of the world. Their holy mission is to prevent this from happening by sealing away all the rifts that appear. The Guardians are thus, from another point of view, a group seeking redemption for their fallen people.
The Mage is probably the four classes found in the game. There are 7 sub-classes known as souls. Dominate and be the most powerful mage in the world of Telara and to be so, you need a complete walkthrough of Rift Mage.
The Rift Rogue Saboteur is going to be one of the most popular souls amongst all the classes. It is extremely unusual class and that i cannot say that we have seen a category quite like the Saboteur in all of Rift. Unlike other classes, the Saboteur has no real direct attacks. Rather than using swords, daggers, or bows, the Saboteur attacks with bombs.
Although the races base each of their actions on goodwill to save the world, tracing returning to their history would show that their attempts are also in part, redemption. Their leaders have sinned. For example, Aedraxis Mathos caused the appearance of cooler areas and the Prince Hylas broke his faith in the gods. Within the world of Telara, PvP takes place mainly in two places, the battlegrounds (known as warfronts in the game) and the open world.
PvP and Rift comes hand-in-hand. In order to unlock abilities such as those to buy equipment and new souls, you would need to gain Favor. This Favor is gained via PvP. Thus in order to buy new souls, gamers will have to engage in PvP fights. In Rift, leveling also means using money. As such, Rift gamers range between doing everything by themselves, to buying gold from gold sellers, using macros and bots, or even power leveling services. All of this, risk getting the gamer's account banned.
