But now you are probably wondering what is affiliate marketing?
Affiliate marketing is a form of online marketing. There are companies and people who have products to sell but either do not have the money to run an advertising campaign or do not want to. This is where you come in. You will find companies and people who have these products to sell. They are really easy to find by doing a simple Google search. Once you find a company with a product you like or think other people will like, then you become an affiliate. You job is to market there product for them. If you do this properly, it will lead to a sale and you will get a commission. What type of commission or payment can you earn? Well it all depends on the A.M. program. A typical commission will be about 50 of the purchase price. So lets say your marketing leads to a sale of a product that costs $50.00, then you will get paid $25.00. I have seen some percentages as low as 4 but as high as 75 of the purchase price.
The easiest way to market these products is through article writing and submission. The are hundreds of article directories on the Internet and you can write articles about or reviewing the product. At the end of the article, you will be able to put a link in your resource box that will lead the reader to the product. This link will then credit you for any sales you make through that article. The best things about writing articles are you can write them very easily, they don t cost you any money (just some time), and a well written article could bring you in sales months and even years after you have written it!
The reason why I believe affiliate marketing is one of the best Internet jobs at home is it is so easy to do and you can work when you have time. I know I value my time with my family but I also and striving for more out of life. The flexibility of affiliate marketing and it s very nominal start up costs make it a very easy business to make some extra money with. But just remember success isn t going to come instantly, you are going to have to put some work into it to be successful!
