The Callaway uPro is purposefully designed to be lightweight and sleek so as to fit in your pocket or on your belt without affecting your gameplay. It uses the latest aerial, GPS and satellite data to create precise detailled images of thousands of golf courses. The Callaway uPro displays these high-resolution images on a 2.2inch LCD colour screen. The LCD screen is transreflective, which means that it uses natural light to illuminate the display and therefore you can still read the screen even on the sunniest of days.The Callaway uPro boasts many excellent features and also two different modes, Basic and Pro. In Basic mode, the GreenView shows the distance to the front, back and centre of the green in large easy to read numbers and you can also access the mark feature to measure the distance of any shot. Meanwhile, in Pro Mode the Callaway uPro really comes into it's own. It begins with a flyover video of each hole, so that you can get on idea of your gameplan. It shows the layout of the hole including 200, 150 and 100 yard markers, this allows you to strategize your game and gain the upper-hand over your opponents. In Pro mode the Anypoint feature allows you to plan your game two shots in advance by taking two measurements at a time and as an added feature the Auto layup gives you distances to 100 and 150 yards from the green centre. The best feature is the SmartView technology, it produces customized aerial images(zoomable) of the green including yardages according to your position on the course. To allow you to avoid those dreaded bunkers and water hazards, you can also view the target area of your next shot. You can use the Mark function to measure the yardage of your shots.
In addition, the Callaway uPro has the quickest startup time of any golf GPS system, with a super-fast GPS locking system. The high GPS sensitivity, means the uPro remains locked even in the most extreme terrains. Lastly another great feature in the form of a software download allows the Callaway uPro to accept voice commands and make menu navigation virtually hands-free..
