First Steps on the Road to Success with Women

Here's a quick question from Derek of Memphis, TN.

"So there's this girl at work that I sometimes flirt with and I've gotten a lot better at that since I've been reading your newsletters. It's hard for me to meet women outside of work since I work maybe 60-70 hours a week and I'm really tired at the end of the day. I used to go out a lot and party when I was younger but those days are older.

What I'm getting at is that this girl is totally my type - short, really petty face, just has a cute bubbly personality and an amazing set of youknowwhats. The problem is I am struggling to "escalate" I just can't seem to move past friendly conversation. I want to let her know that I want her but I don't know how to do it without the risk of making things awkward. I guess if I could meet other girls outside of work, that would make it easier because I wouldn't care so much. I guess I'll be honest I guess I'm a little desperate at this point. What would you do in my situation?"

Ok first I want to point out that I don't typically condone sleeping with women you work with. But I also understand that for a lot of guys, especially in America, work takes up a lot of your day.

So you get off work - not only do you have to wade through rush hour traffic for an hour, but it's already late, and you're exhausted. You'd rather crack open a cold one, plop down in front of the tube, and turn off your brain.

Too bad you don't have a woman to rest her pretty little head on your lap...what could be better? Some mind-numbing TV, a nice cold beer, and a pretty girl to cuddle up with you after a long day.

That's the kind of lifestyle I live (minus the TV part - it's poison. But that's just my opinion).

Everything is easier when you have women in your life. But how do you get women in your life when you don't have time or energy?

You have to make it EASY.

You can meet women easily with minimal effort, you can do it anytime and anywhere.

Let's think it's 7pm, in the evening of Wednesday - "Hump Day." You are stopping at the 7-Eleven on the way home. As you get out of your car to get some hotdogs and Budweiser, you spot a brunette, maybe in her late 20's, great figure, still in her work clothes (her round butt is stretching out her suit pants) and she's wearing those big sunglasses that add just the right mix of attitude and mystery to make her really interesting.

So what do you do?

Well, if you're like Derek, you probably think "aw man. What a babe. Too bad I'm so tired and don't know what the hell to say to her. Dammit - maybe I'll try to hit the gym more, and go out Saturday. I really gotta meet some damn women!"

That sucks.

This is better.

Instead of walking in the 7-Eleven, you walk up to that brunette while she pumps gas.

So that she won't get startled by you approaching over her shoulder, you make sure to approach from her front.

Seeing her makes you look happy (with your face, pervert. Don't show her how truly happy you are to see her until later).

You say, in a loud voice, "Hey! I was about to get some hotdogs, but you looked much more enticing/so pretty pumping that gas. I gotta meet you before you drive away forever. I'm Derek."

She smiles, let's go of the gas pump, and shakes your hand. You talk about work, play, and everything in between, for about...2 minutes.

When it's time to go your separate ways, you offer to call her later in the week.

You call a couple days later, and of course, she remembers you because of how confidently you approached her, and how rare it is for a man to show is interest in such an honest yet comfortable way.

The rest is up to you.

This may sound more direct or even more smooth than you think you could do yourself. I don't recommend writing any of that material down and trying to use it.

Instead, internalize the beliefs that will lead to you thinking of your own material.

That's what we want - men developing their beliefs so that they can attract girl with their natural personalities.
