When it comes to computers, you upgrade the many components with cards, all computers have standard sized slots that you can plug these cards into. First have to figure out what type of video card works with your computer's video slot. Then you have to find a more powerful video card that will both fits into the slot in the viewport on your monitor. Then all you have to do is install the new video card, and then plugs the cable between your card and monitor. Laptops and netbooks cannot have their video cards upgraded.
