This is also reflected in the size of the average American who is larger than any other country in the world. When you start having fat losing contests on television as you number rated show you know you have a problem. Recently, with the housing crisis, people behaviors made them take on mortgages which were too large for their expense. Don't get caught up with the glitter and size. One of the topics that Seth Godin spoke about in one of his books was the trough where people are unable to get out of. Typically, this happens when people train too much and hard. What follows is injury, and the reluctance to get back on the mat. Breaking the cycle leads to breaking habits which may be good in the long run.
This will break the cycle that will lead the student to train consistently. Unlimited programs do not help the students, especially when they are first starting out. Giving them too much in the beginning will only hinder their progress in the long run.
Taking the steps to give them small increments will lead students to enjoy the experience, but more importantly, the habit to continue this over the long run. Our economy was very reflective on our consumption, and how it needs to slow our desire and emotions.
Always feeding to the majority of the public needs is something that is not good for the public. Take the steps to help themselves.
