You can watch the warriors of Bravehart on television with their kilts around the men's waists while they are participating in the annual Highland games or running through the glen. They have a dirk boldly hanging by their side. They're also crowned with sporran, and colored brightly with tartan. Obviously, they're kilts and they have a style of their own. However, do kilts have any place in today's society? If you ask any Scotsman, he'll respond with a resounding aye. Although it was another knight who summed up the status and style of the kilt so perfectly in the evocative phrase, "A man in a kilt is a man and a half."
