Your hard drive is where you pile up all the junk your computer collects over the years, the problem is that over the years this stuff that you're stuffing your hard drive with begins to build and build, and eventually your hard drive can't hold anymore; this is when it's time to add a new hard drive. With the way the internet is growing, files are getting bigger and bigger, and there are more and more fun files for you to install, in order to keep up with this space demand, a new hard drive is a must.
There are two ways to deal with this problem; you can either get yourself an internal or an external hard drive. I recommend getting yourself an external hard drive mostly just because of the simplicity of it. External hard drives are really relatively cheap for a ton of space, and all you usually have to do is plug em into an open usb port. External hard drives are also nice because they give you the ability to transfer large files between computers very easily, this can prove to have many advantages.
