The Intimus Pro 32CC is a medium security, cross cut paper shredder that can accept paper clips, staples, credit cards, CD s, and DVD s. (The shreds it produces measure 5/32 x 1 1/8 .) The Pro 32CC features Intimus 2x2 system that separates the paper waste from the other detritus, so it s great if you want to be environmentally sound and recycle. Like Intimus other new shredder, the Pro 26CC, the Pro 32CC has Silentec technology that ensures a whisper quiet shredding experience every time you use the machine. It also has i Control, an innovative alert system that lets you know when the waste bin is open and/or full, if the motor is overheating, and when it s time to oil the machine. This is a great system to have because it takes a lot of the guesswork out of paper shredder maintenance so you can spend more time working and less time attending to your shredder. It even comes with shred bags and shredder oil to help you get started.
The Pro 32CC was designed for small office use and due to its small size, it would be easy to store the machine under a desk. This shredder has locking casters so you can move the machine around and make sure it stays where you need it. The shredder s horizontal 9.5 inch throat makes it easy to shred legal and letter sized documents, and it can shred up to 12 sheets of paper at once. (There s a separate opening for credit cards and other plastic items.)
The Pro 32CC has an automatic shut off and a reverse feature so you can resolve paper jams in a jiffy. You also won t need to empty the wastebasket all the time because it produces small cross cut particles and has a generous 8.8 gallon capacity. Best of all, this machine comes with Intimus limited lifetime warranty so your new investment will be covered for as long as you own the machine.
Since the Pro 32CC was engineered for small office shredding, it s not recommended for companies that need to do high volume shredding, nor is it a good choice for organizations that need the highest possible level of shredding security. This machine is also not designed for continuous use and the motor will turn itself off to protect the machine if you shred for prolonged periods of time. Still, the Intimus Pro 32CC is an excellent choice for small offices that need a well constructed, easy to use shredder that will stand up to years of use and provide a moderate amount of security. It offers quiet, convenient operation and it makes it easy to recycle your waste. All in all, this is just about the perfect small office shredder.
