Just yesterday we had a classic example of people who followed after something that was not wise. They followed after a man, who had already been wrong previously about the return of Christ and once again made the same mistake thousands of people have made over the years.
Whether it is people following after a man predicting the return of Christ, or a man promises health and weath, the need for wisdom is the same. Do you have the time to was with empty promises and big fat lies? I know I don't. So follow along with me, (not follow me) and let's together explore some key principles that God has laid out for us concerning wisdom.
Ephesians 5:15-19 (New King James Version)
Walk in Wisdom
"15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,"
Paul gives us 4 great keys in walking in wisdom.
Walk Circumspectly! Which means to walk diligently and carefully
We are to Redeem the Time! We need to keep our focus on what really matters.
Understand the will of God! It is not as hard as you might think. God doesn't want to make it hard. He is a believer in the K.I.S.S. theory of life.
Be filled with His Spirit! What we dwell and think about constantly is what we will be filled with!
These 4 keys will enable you to start walking in wisdom. But because of the size limits and restraints on writing articles in many directories, I cannot go into detail here about these keys. However I have written extensively on this subject and others on my blog called Taber's Truths. I would invite you to investigate further concerning walking in wisdom or other things related to living out your Christian life with honesty and integrity.
So what do you say? Are you going to investigate what wisdom has to offer you or are you going to keep doing what maybe has been causing your failure all along? A wise man once said that to keep doing the things that are causing you to fail and expecting a different outcome is the definition of insanity. I know for me, after many failings, I chose to stop being unwise and started following God's suggestion on how to be wise. It has made a world of difference in my life. I have came from bankrupt, divorced, and on the edge of suicide to a wonderful life filled with blessings. No I am not rich financially but I have more than enough to meet my needs, and I have many things money can't buy.
So what are you waiting for? Isn't that what You always wanted? Just click the links below to find out all about wisdom and what it can do for you.
