Ingredients for your London broil:
1-2 pounds of beef flank steak
1/3 cup of Italian salad dressing
2 tablespoons red wine or red wine vinegar
1 clove of garlic
2 tablespoons cooking oil
This will be all being needed to marinade your steak.
If you don't have the flank steak you are going to use in cooking the London broil, you can replace or substitute the round steak. If you are referring to use the flank steak, you will need to tenderize the cut of meat first. You must do this with a mallet and marinade it or a little of both on a bowl.
After the meat is tenderized, you may choose if you wanted to broil your flank meat or grill it similarly to the way of cooking it in London broil.
If you refer the ways of London broil to cook your, make the cuts each several shallow on both side of your meat as way like to London broil.
Place the meat in the baking dish. Brush your marinade on both side of the steak and be sure to coat both side.
Cover your pan with a plastic wrap and place it on your refrigerator for at least an hour to marinate. Allow the marinade to soak into the meat.
After 1 hour, get your meat and pour out the excess marinade.
Preheat your broiler and place the meat 3 inches from the top heat. Cook your meat from 5-8 minutes per side. This will make certain that the meat is medium cooked and you may want to allow another minute for meat to be well-done. After cooking, you cut your meat into slices and it's ready to serve.
