However to have the best chance of getting search engine rankings and traffic, which are the two main things that make a successful blog, you need to use the right keywords. Look for keywords that have a low level of competition and a fairly decent monthly search volume. The lower the competition, the higher your chance of getting ranked and pulling in the traffic.
The second step of action under my tips for a successful blog is putting those keywords to good use. Now is the time to go to the next level and begin writing articles and blog posts using one of the keywords you found. They should be included in the title of the article, the first sentence, throughout the main body and the last sentence. Consistency is the KEY to success here so make sure you are writing on a very regular basis and then submitting your writing to both your blog, and article directories all over the net.
